By using this website (www.designtree.co.nz) to gather information and/or purchase products and/or services you declare that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Policies – Terms and Conditions, Shipping and Privacy/Security.

The Terms of use, Terms and Conditions, Privacy and Security, and Shipping Policies form a legal contract between you and us.

We reserve the right to amend these Policies at any time. Upon placing these amendments on this website they will be effective immediately. After such amendments have been placed with your continuation of using this website, you agree that you are bound by these amendments. Amendments may be part of or all of these Policies. We reserve the right to not give notice of any amendments; therefore you should periodically read these Policies.

SHIPPING

All shipping prices are calculated on an order by order basis. Once you have placed your order an automatic email will be sent confirming your order. We will email you with the shipping costs through a link to a secure PayPal page to pay for your shipping. Dispatch time:
If we have all of the products in your order in stock your order will be shipped within 12 - 48 hours of payment. If we do not have part or all of your order in stock we will advise you of this and give you estimated lead times. If these lead times are pushed out for any reason we will keep you updated. By grouping your order into one delivery this will incur less transport and packaging costs to you and the environment. Please let us know if you would prefer that we shipped parts of your order as product becomes available. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Within New Zealand:
All orders are sent using Track & Trace system offered by Fastway Couriers www.fastway.co.nz. You may need to sign a receipt upon delivery of your order. For this reason we cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Please use only private, work or rural addresses. Also please use a delivery address at which you or someone on your behalf will be available to receive it. Once picked up by Fastway Couriers it will normally take 24 hours within the North Island and 48 hours within the South Island to be delivered (excluding weekends and public holidays. Rural addresses may take a little longer).

International shipping:
All orders are sent using New Zealand Post Track & Trace courier services. Where courier services are not avaliable in the destination country the New Zealand Post postal servives will come into place. Below shows these two shipping options, including insurance cover, Track & Trace availability and estimated delivery times. If the product exceeds New Zealand Posts dimension limits we will use another shipping company at our discretion. Once we have sent off your package we will email you to confirm your tracking number (with applicable link to website) for you to be able to see the progress of you package:

International Postal Services:
Insurance – Packages over $250 NZD to a Maximum of $1,500 NZD will cost an additional $10 NZD:

International Air – 3-10 working days – Available worldwide.

International Courier Services:
Insurance – Packages over $2,000 NZD will cost an additional $10 NZD:

International Economy Courier – Includes Track & Trace – 2-6 working days – Available to the following 45 destinations only:

Customs:
You may be required to pay excise, import duties, taxes (inc GST) or some kind of levy on the value of your goods at your countries border. We have no control over these taxes. We give no advice about them. They are the responsibility of the receiver of the goods. Please check with your local Customs Authority about this. Customs formalities may affect delivery times.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

Your privacy and security is extremely important to us. The information that you provide us is used for the following purposes:

1. Process your order:
When ordering from us you will be using PayPal to purchase your new item/s. You do not need a PayPal account to purchase from us. When using the PayPal shopping cart you will be providing personal information like your name, contact and credit card details. This information is collected on PayPal’s secure server. 2. Advise you of new products, news and updates:
Within this site there are various stages where you will enter your name and contact details. By providing your name and contact details you authorise us to contact you via email or mail to advise you of new products, news and updates. At anytime you can unsubscribe by contacting us at [email protected] and by placing ‘Unsubscribe’ in the subject box.

3. For statistical purposes:
We monitor traffic to our site. Your name and contact details and any other information that you provide is kept in our database. We use this for our purposes only so we can better improve our services to you and future customers. This information also helps us with our marketing direction. We also monitor other websites linking to us.

4. Improve content:
We try to provide up to date information about us, designers, products and other information. We may keep information that you have provided to us to help us improve the content on this website.

5. Improve customer relationships
We are here to serve you, our suppliers and the environment. We therefore collect information from you that will help us with improving these relationships.

6. Third parties
Unless we are required to do so to process your order we will not give away your personal details to third parties, and we will not sell or trade your personal details. We will not make public the information that you have provided about you without your prior permission.

7. Testimonials:
If you provide us with a testimonial you are giving us the authorization to use your name alongside your testimonial for marketing purposes whether that is via the internet or in print.

8. Feedback and/or Comments:
For us to provide a better service to you we will keep all feedback and/or comments in our database. It is at our discretion whether we act on this feedback and/or comments.
