It has been a busy end of 2014 and start of 2015! The Designtree team have been hard at work. Moving, designing and customising our new studio space in Lyall Bay, Wellington.
It has been a busy, exciting and refreshing start to the year. We’ll keep you posted as we progress.
Asia Talents 2014 Exhibition
Tim and I are starting a 4 day long immersion in the Thai design scene. The Thai government have generously invited and sponsored 10 international furniture / lighting designers (including Designtree) to exhibit at the Asia Talents exhibition starting today 18th September and running until the 21st. Curated by celebrated Bangkok designer Anon Pairot, the Asia Talents exhibition sits within the larger TIDE trade fair facilitating local and international design brands to showcase their work and participate in a series of design talks and events over the duration of the fair.
We’re chuffed to be selected to exhibit alongside some extremely talanted designers and we’re looking forward to having some interesting conversations over the coming days.
We’re also taking this opportunity to introduce a few new products to the Designtree range: The Chamfer Coffee Table, the Extra Large Half Nectar Lamp, and new spun metal Pil Lamps available in limited edition brass and a standard range of Powder-coated colours. For more information on the fair visit here.
New Giddyup in Solid Ash
The Giddyup Rocking Stool has had a revamp with improvements to the design and the addition of a solid timber option in American White Ash. Yeehaw! Thanks to Saint Andrew Photography for the great pics.
